Using the App

Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy is an educational app designed to help users recognize, remember, and write Chinese characters through guided stroke practice, memory cues, and review.

You may use the app for personal and lawful learning purposes. You may not interfere with the operation of the app or its services, attempt unauthorized access, misuse automated requests, or copy, reproduce, or redistribute protected app content except as permitted by applicable law.

Guest Use and Sign in with Apple

You may use Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy as a Guest without signing in.

Sign in with Apple is optional and may be used to synchronize learning progress across supported devices.

You do not need to use Sign in with Apple to purchase or restore Lifetime Pro.

Lifetime Pro

Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the advertised Pro features for the supported lifetime of Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy. It is not a subscription.

Purchases are processed, billed, and managed by Apple through the App Store. Eligible purchases can be restored using the App Store account that originally made the purchase.

Refunds and other purchase-related matters are handled according to Apple's applicable policies.

Accounts and Data Deletion

You may delete your Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy account or Guest data from Settings.

Deletion permanently removes associated learning progress, settings, authentication records, and other user-specific app data, subject to limited records that may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, accounting, purchase restoration, security, or legal obligations.

If your account is linked through Sign in with Apple, the associated Apple authorization is revoked as part of the account deletion process.

Deleting your Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy account or Guest data does not cancel, refund, or erase purchases made through the App Store. Eligible Lifetime Pro purchases may still be restored through Apple after deletion.

Availability and Learning Results

We work to keep Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy accurate, reliable, and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or specific learning results.

Features may change when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, maintenance, or continued operation.

Any such changes will not intentionally remove purchase rights already provided through a valid Lifetime Pro purchase, except where required by law or platform requirements.

Intellectual Property

Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy, including its original learning content, text, visual materials, design elements, and software, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of app content or intellectual property to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hanzi 300: Chinese Characters Made Easy is provided on an “as available” basis.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app where such limitations are permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
